3-day EduCamp in Engelskirchen - Topic: 'Media-Supported Learning'

The 33rd EduCamp will take place from October 9 to 11, 2026, at Aggertal Gymnasium in Engelskirchen. This event, organized nationwide by the EduCamp Association e.V., will be held for the first time this year in the Oberbergischer Kreis.

What is the EduCamp?

The EduCamp is a BarCamp – an open participatory conference where attendees themselves bring in topics, questions, and ideas to actively shape the program. Workshops, discussion rounds, and other formats focus particularly on media pedagogy and innovative forms of teaching and learning.

Who is invited?

Everyone interested in education and especially media pedagogical issues is invited – whether teachers, students, parents, pedagogical professionals, university students, trainees, trainers, or individuals working outside of schools.

The participation and numerous offerings around the holiday camp are free of charge.

• Free childcare (including workshops at the LVR Industrial Museum Ermen&Engels in Engelskirchen)

• Free catering (Saturday evening event at own expense)

• Overnight stay at the school or camping on the premises possible  

The EduCamp offers an opportunity to gain new inspiration for schools and teaching, share personal experiences, and engage with people from various educational fields.
